Hvar is also known as the "Madeira of the Adriatic“. In average you may enjoy 2.715 hours of sunshine a year, what makes Hvar sunnyest island on the Adriatic coast. During winter, Hvar has an average temperature of 9°C while in summer average temperature is 25°C.
Hvar is the second biggest Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea and the longest one. The eastern promontory of Hvar is only 4.5 km away from the mainland, while the western one faces the open sea. It is 67,5 km long and a maximum of 10,5 km in width. Higest peak is St.Nicola which is 626 m high...
There are 11,459 inhabitants on Hvar. Innumerable lavender fields, olive plantations and wineyards cover it. The islanders make their living mostly of tourism, viticulture, olive growing and above all, growing of rosemary and lavander, and fishing...
Pacho, born in 1971 in Split, finished the study of italian and english languages. Has climbed in Slovenia, Thailand, Alps. He is award wining outdoor photographer. Damir participated (and created some) in different adventure sports events in Croatia, He is licenced adventure sports guide and works as a sea kayaking guide.
Purko, born in 1979 in Split, finished courses of paragliding, caving, ice climbing in Chamonix, participated in climbing expeditions in Chile 2004. Josko is authorized instructor of rock climbing (UIAA). He is licenced adventure sports guide and works as a sea kayaking guide and rock climbing instructor.

Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Hvar
We will organize a transfer from ferry port Stari Grad to Hvar town. Welcome drink in the afternoon/evening where You will be introduced to your guide and as well as get the opportunity to get know better all members of the team and the group, be informed about the program and make arrangements for the following day.
Day 2 | Sea Kayaking to St. Klement Island, Vlaka
09:00 starts our first sea kayaking day. We star with introduction to sea kayaking and equipment. On the first day we set off to the group of small islands called the Pakleni. The origin of the name goes back to old days when the islands were the main source of rosin for local shipbuilders. Today, just like then, the islands are covered with thick pine woods providing refreshing shade even during the hottest summer days. Besides the well-known beach of Palmižana, the route through narrow straits and along the islands reveals to you small hidden pebble beaches where you can enjoy the privilege of having, at least temporarily, a beach of your own. Overnight in tent on the St.Klement island. After we organize our camp for the night, we will do a short hike to small restaurant for dinner.
Day 3 | Sea kayaking from Vlaka to Hvar
9:00 we will start our tour following the north coast of St. Klement island back to Hvar town. After stops for snorkelling, swimming and lunch, we return back o Hvar town, where we spend overnight.
Day 4 | Sea kayaking to Jagodna Bay
9:00 We kayak along the coast line towards east. On the way we would visit beautiful bays and beaches, Red Rocks and finish our tour in Jagodna bay camping site. After we organize our camping gear and tents, we will have dinner prepared by local family in Jagodna bay.
Day 5 | Sea kayaking and hiking to highest peak of Hvar
09:00 Sea kayaking from Jagodna bay back towards west. After shord paddling, we will stop in small hidden port close to Village on the south side of island called Sv.Nedjelja.
We will spend our day in Sv.Nedjelja, which is the starting point to the highest peak of the island. The hiking tour leads you through olive groves and vineyards following ancient paths treaded by locals who still cultivate their land in the same way their ancestors used to do. It is difficult to imagine how much effort and hard work is required to grow grapes in vineyards on steep slopes going all the way from the sea surface to the top. The trail takes us along the old road made of stone blocks which was once the only communication between the South and the North side of the island. When you reach the peak of Sveti Nikola at 636 m above the sea level, you will have a wonderful view of all the surrounding islands and area in which we paddle. On the way down you will stop at beautiful cave and finally arrive in the village of Sveta Nedjelja where a lunch will be organized in one of local restaurants. Overnight in tents in Sv.Nedjelja.
Day 6 | Sea kayaking from Sv. Nedjelja back to Hvar town
09:00 Today we kayak the last leg of our kayaking adventure. On the way back we will stop in one of the bays for refreshment. After we arrive to Hvar town, a farewell dinner will be organized in one of local restaurants.
We employ local guides. Beside the fact that this kind of employment brings benefits to the local community, local guides are very familiar with the area and they know local people. We direct our travellers to local private accommodation providers. Overnight in private accommodation enhances the visitors' experience, since they get an opportunity to be welcomed by a local host and thus get better insight in everyday life of local people on Croatian islands. Also, in this way our travellers are contributing to the local economy. While on tours we stop for a lunch in local restaurants. Thus the guests have an opportunity to taste some of the typical specialties of the region and at the same time help the local economy.
We will buy groceries from local fisherman and local market where you can buy vegetables produced by local producers.
All our guides are aware of their surrounding and they are constantly providing the travellers with suggestions of how to minimize potential negative impacts to the environment and marine ecosystems. We always collect our litter and encourage people to help us collecting litter from beaches and other beautiful places we visit. Our guides emphasize on the importance of leaving the environment as it is. We observe nature but we do not disturb it.
We choose our activities because of the minimum impact they have on the nature. While sailing we use only power of the wind, for kayaking and walking we use our body and muscles – our strength. We do not cause any form of air or water pollution and we try not to produce noise that could be disturbing for marine or wildlife.
Sea Kayaking itself is one of the most environmental friendly ways of travelling. As we understand the importance of conserving marine environments for future generations, you will also learn how to help conserve the unspoiled locations we all love to kayak in.
