The balance between personal guided time and "free time" will allow to you to really explore without missing any of the "must sees".
Good food and wine is easy to find in Buenos Aires, and the busy restaurants and cafés stand as testament to the sociability of the Porteños – this is a city where you will be welcomed with open arms.
Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina. It is located on the southern shore of the Río de la Plata, on the southeastern coast of the South American continent. The city has emerged over the last few years as one of the world’s most chic and happening destinations. It is a modern, cosmopolitan city that is the undisputed hub for hot new Latin American design and fashion, but despite this, parts of the city still retain much of their architectural grandness and nostalgic air. Whilst it definitely has European feel to it, it has not renounced any of its South American essence and this blend gives the city an undeniable uniqueness.
Activities
A car and guide will be at your disposition on your first full day, which will give you an excellent opportunity to explore the city and get your bearings. This tour can be moulded to suit your exact needs - let us know in advance what your main interests are - history, fashion, art, politics, tango, wine - and we can find the guide to suit you.
You will also get a chance to enjoy what is arguably the best tango show on earth - the legendary and very stylish Esquina Carlos Gardel.

Just a note to say that we greatly enjoyed our trip to Argentina. All the arrangements worked well and the guides were excellent. The highlight of the trip was the 248 Finisterra Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay there, the staff are really pleasant and helpful and its location is ideal with many restaurants close by.

Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Buenos Aires
You will be met at the airport and taken to your boutique hotel by one of our excellent English speaking guides. You can discuss with her/him what elements you would like to include on tomorrow's city tour. The afternoon will be free to relax and acclimatise. In the evening there are many great restaurants just a few steps from the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel 248 Finisterra, in a standard double room with breakfast.
We love the 248 Finisterra, but if you would like to stay at a different hotel, please just ask, as we have excellent rates at all of Buenos Aires' best properties and can offer alternatives for all budgets and styles.
Day 2 | Exploring the city
Today you will have a private car and guide at your personal diposal for 5 hours, plenty of time to get a great overview of the city and explore the neighbourhoods of Palermo, San Telmo, Recoleta and Belgrano. Please note that if you would rather a greener option, you can opt for a city tour using public transport and foot power - or even by bike. You will have the afternoon free to continue exploring on your own. Overnight at the Hotel 248 Finisterra, in a standard double room with breakfast.
Day 3 | Further exploration & Tango
Today you will have a whole day to relax in this wonderful city. If its a Sunday, you may like to explore the vibrant street market in San Telmo, or bustle with the bargain hunters in the weekend fashion stalls in Palermo Viejo.
In the evening you will be picked up by private car for the journey to Abasto, one of the city's most traditional tango neighbourhoods, where you will watch what is arguably the best tango display in Buenos Aires - the show at the Esquina Carlos Gardel tango hall. Dinner & drinks are included.
Overnight at the 248 Finisterra, in a standard double room with breakfast.
Day 4 | Tour Ends
Depending on your flight time, today you may have the morning free before we take you to the internal or internnational airport for your flight out. If you would like to extend your trip in BA, or visit any other part of Argentina or Chile, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

We always try to use small, locally owned hotels and restaurants to increase the positive impacts for local economies.
GUIDED TOURS We travel in small groups to minimise our footprint and increase the chances of being able to use small, locally owned services.
We use local guides for all our group trips, helping to ensure that a higher percentage of the income generated by the tourist industry stays in Argentina.
We only use horses that are well cared for and that are bred and managed responsibly.
OFFICE When possible we work from home, and if we have to travel to the office we do so by bike, by bus or on the subway.
All paper and cardboard in the office is recycled, although we are also striving to become a 100% paperless office – we print no emails or brochures, and use scrap paper or the computer for taking notes.
When we absolutely have to print, we refill and reuse the ink cartridges.
