The numerous islands surrounding Nha Trang with their transparent waters make for exciting island trips, excellent fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving. Only a stones throw away from the city is some of the most astounding countryside, the mountains so steep seem to dwarf the city, and the plush green paddy fields almost seem electrified by the sun. Nha Trang is also a terrific place to hire a motorbike for exploring at your own pace, driving being much less perilous than the traffic-choked streets of Ho Chi Minh City. Begin at the resort and follow Tran Phu Boulevard southwards to the Bao Dai Villa, the seaside refuge of Vietnam's last Emperor to enjoy the commanding views of the city. Alternatively rent a mountain bike and explore the countryside biking trails, villages towns and farms, these tours are probably the best way to experience the 'true' Vietnamese way of life.

On the resort's private beach, you will find our water sports equipment. Here you have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of activities. Hire the Hobie Cat and receive free tuition from our staff, or try parasailing for the more daring.

Whether you choose to join an excursion or make use of the resort's various watersports equipment, we guarantee your experiences will be truly unique and unforgettable. Please note that there are many unlicensed agencies offering tours and trips in Nha Trang. Although a trip through these agencies might seem cheaper than those at the resort, please be aware that since no license is given, the sanitary standards, safety measures as well as programme are below acceptable. Here at the resort, our entire activities including the full gamut of watersports are covered with comprehensive international liability insurance, up to 100,000 US Dollar per guest. We take great pride in assuring guests they are in safe hands at all times. Furthermore, for safety reasons, some of our excursions and activities do have age restrictions, however do not fear we do offer a separate range of activities specifically made for children

Children's Activities
Our team of qualified sports and recreation staff at the resort are currently expanding and improving our programme of activities specially designed for children of all ages. All of our equipment from tennis rackets, bicycles to snorkeling equipment is available in children's sizes. We would be delighted to organise children's activities ranging from fishing trips, learning to snorkel right through to tennis lessons. Our expert staff would be delighted to provide tuition free of charge on the Hobie Cats, and for those wanting to be a bit more daring why not try a dual paraguide. Should there be any particular activity or excursion your children are interested in, we would be delighted to tailor make a special programme for you.

Swimming
The resort's swimming pool is open from 08:00 - 20:00, and provides the perfect place for relaxing with the adjacent jacuzzi. Alternatively guests are tempted into the warm transparent waters off the resorts private beach. The sea is safe for swimming however, a red flag will be shown due to the occasional strong and deceptive undercurrents

Tennis
The resort tennis court is open 06:00 - 20.00 and is available to our guests free of charge during daylight and at 5 USD per hour after dark. Tennis rackets and balls are available at the activity/excursions centre. Refreshments can be ordered from Beach Restaurant. Reservations in advance are recommended as most guests tend to play at dusk when the temperatures are a little cooler. A tennis coach is also available upon request, either for lessons or as a partner.


Scuba Diving
Evason Ana Mandara is delighted to announce our new Diving operation - the Dive Shop. The team will run our onsite A 5* PADI Resort diving centre. This partnership has seen the fruition of the best collaboration of instructing talent available in Nha Trang.

The Dive shop team, carefully hand-picked have combined their wide variety of experience to create a first class operation suited to the needs of every diver, from the absolute beginner to the most advanced and experienced, without forgetting kids. The team is committed to providing only the highest quality of dive instruction, and with multinational staff ensures everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this fascinating and addictive sport. So many people have always wanted to try scuba diving, however, have for some reason or another put it off. The Dive Shop team of professionals have changed so many peoples outlook on scuba diving and introduced them to how fun and easy it is to learn and enjoy the most exciting 'Extreme Sport' in the world today.

Six Senses Spa
Located alongside the beach in a coconut plantation, the holistic Six Senses Spa sets new standards in spa design with the use of natural tones, traditional Vietnamese style and water elements.

There are three sunken outdoor treatment salas surrounded by pools and miniature waterfalls so you can relax to the therapeutic sound of falling water. Inside the spa, there are treatment rooms for couples or singles, with sunken Jacuzzi baths, a Vichy shower and a Japanese style bath. With separate facilities for men and women, the ‘back to nature’ changing areas are surrounded by ponds and lush vegetation with sauna and steam. Waiting areas for relaxation and private consultation take place in traditional Vietnamese style salas raised on stilts surrounded by coconut trees.
