We aim to increase your profile, enhance your direct booking potential and reduce your distribution costs. Our Travel Collection aims to be the most comprehensive online collection healthy and sustainable travel experiences, including accommodation, tours and retreats. Our accommodation collection includes boutique hotels, lodges and villas to rent, yachts for charter, private residence clubs and properties to buy. Our travel collection includes suggested tailor-made tours, escorted tours and expeditions as well as self guide and drive tours. The wellbeing collection includes a range of accommodation and retreats designed to rejuvenate body, mind and soul. The Nature & Kind Factor Premium travel suppliers invited by Nature & Kind, are assessed against their ability to offer a style of travel that is healthy and sustainable, without compromising guest comfort, service, style and value As part of the Trusted Partner selection process, each Trusted Partner is required to answer the Nature & Kind Factor Questionnaire, which assesses the current level of commitment a Trusted Partner is to operating in a sustainable way. As some questions are more relevant to an accommodation than they are to tour or retreat operator, we do not expect any partner to answer yes to each and every question. The Nature & Kind Factor questions reflect current best practice guidelines for the industry. The questions draw on respected sources including the UNWTO, UNEP, The Travel Foundation, International Tourism Partnership and the Federation of Tour Operators. The questions are designed to enable accommodation providers, tour and retreat operators to demonstrate their commitment to environmental and socially responsible business practices. Nature & Kind recognises that each of our Trusted Partners are individual and unique, operations are based in a wide variety of social, environmental and political contexts. The general questions are not bound by regional environmental standards.

Trusted Partner CMS Administration and Reporting features:
The Enquiry and Booking Process: When a traveller or a travel professional finds an experience they want to enquire about or book, they fill out an enquiry form on the website which will summarise the accommodation, tour or retreat they are enquiring about, including any price or offer description. If the enquirer is not a registered Friend of Nature & Kind, then they will be required to enter their name and contact details, as well as indicate to you at what stage are they are at in their travel planning and booking phase. On submitting the enquiry, a copy of the enquiry is emailed directly to the email address as nominated in the Account Admin section of the Trusted Partner CMS. A second email can also be nominated to receive a copy of the enquiry in order to ensure a timely and informative response to the enquiry by the Trusted Partner. For example a hotel group might have a central enquires email, however to ensure a speedy response they might also want each individual hotel reservations desk to receive a copy. A tour operator might have a central enquires email as well as wanting to nominate a particular sales consultant related to their knowledge and expertise. Trusted Partner’s are expected to respond an enquiry within 24 hours, at most within 48 hours as per our Terms of Partnership. Trusted Partners respond to enquiries and booking requests with a legally binding offer or quote, including total payment amount, quote expiry date, deposit required and terms of cancellation. Nature & Kind Travel Collection Partnership Fee and Commission: Trusted Partners pay an annual Partnership Fee to be featured in the Trusted Partner Marketing Programme, and a commission on any confirmed bookings introduced via Nature & Kind. ACCOMMODATION Annual Partnership Fee: Accommodation: Annual partnership fee is based on average cost per accommodation per night (not person). Accommodation Partnership Fees start at £150 per annum per accommodation. Exception: If the average cost per night for the accommodation is under £50, or it is community owned (i.e. 51% or more owned by local community) it is exempt from paying the annual partnership fee. Commission: 15% Commission is only chargeable on a secure booking and is deducted from the deposit payment made to Nature & Kind to secure the booking. Commission is charged on the Total Quote Value of the booking. TOUR & RETREAT OPERATORS Tour & Retreat Operators: Tour/Retreat Operator partnership fee is based on a percentage of the average cost per tour price per person as marketed through the website. The annual partnership allows for an unlimited number of tours or retreats to be marketed through the website. Tour/ Retreat Operators Partnership Fees start at £250 per annum. Exception: If a tour/retreat operator’s average tour/retreat cost per person is under £200, or is community owned i.e. 51% or more owned by local community) it is exempt from paying annual partnership fee. Commission: 10% Commission is only chargeable on a secure booking and is deducted from the deposit payment made to Nature & Kind to secure the booking. Commission is charged on the Total Quote Value of the booking. Commission payment: To secure a booking Travellers will need to accept a quote from the Trusted Partner by paying either the deposit or the full amount to Nature & Kind. The deposit or the full amount will include the commission owed to Nature & Kind. Once the Traveller has paid Nature & Kind, we will electronically transfer the money into the Trusted Partner’s bank account, minus commission, after 5 working days. The balance of the deposit and any other outstanding expenses is settled directly between the Traveller and the Trusted Partner. Should a Trusted Partner require the balance prior to arrival, this must be made clear in the Trusted Partner’s booking terms and conditions, and the Trusted Partner is ultimately responsible for payment from the Traveller. Nature & Kind holds its commission earned in a secure holding bank account until the day of accommodation arrival date or the tour or retreat departure/ start date. If the Traveller cancels, then Nature & Kind will refund the Traveller in line with the Trusted Partners cancellation policy with 3 working days. How can I become a Trusted Partner? Partnership of the Nature & Kind Travel Collection is by-invitation only. If you offer a healthy living and sustainable travel experience and would like to be invited as a Trusted Partner, please register your interest to Nature & Kind by filling out our online registration form. Nature & Kind’s Trusted Partner Select Committee will assess your registration, view your website and seek advice from our Advisors and current Trusted Partners. If we decide your accommodation, tours or retreats meets the required guest experience and sustainability standards of the Nature & Kind Travel collection, then we will contact you to formally invite you to become a Trusted Partner of the Nature & Kind Travel Collection. We apologise, due to a large number of requests for invitations to become Nature & Kind Trusted Partners from non suitable companies, we can not guarantee a response for those who do not qualify. |
