Our Area of Environment Protection Atlantic Forest was declared a Property of Humanity by UNESCO, and has an ecosystem with one of the most rich biodiversity of the planet.

To help protect this environment, Txai sponsors two important projects for this area: Txai Friends and Txaitaruga, through activities with the communities of Itacare and Serra Grande, such as:

- environmental education
- reforestation of native species
- preservation of two species of sea turtles.
