The Royal Madikwe offers nothing short of luxurious hospitality and spectacular wildlife encounters. It therefore extends the perfect invitation to make a worthwhile difference, by simply having a superb holiday. Thus, an economic vehicle is created for the greater purpose of making a real difference as twenty percent of all profit generated through this commercial endeavor, will be made available for reinvestment into local community projects.

The remnants of colonialism are now fading as past memories, bursting forth a whole new Africa, vibrant energetic and integrated. And so the clouds of doubt divide, hope breaks through to create the new age for Bright Futures. Set up by Royal Madikwe to uplift and develop the surrounding local communities, Bright Futures also make donations to other charities helping children all over Africa.

Community Projects

Royal Madikwe’s latest community project is installing playground equipment to benefit children of 7 schools in the local rural communities.

*Community Centers, Inc. serves the neediest members of Greenwich community. The trusts mission in Greenwich is to support diversity, empower the less privileged, nurture the young and engage seniors. Most of their beneficiaries live in subsidized public housing and many live in single parent homes. Community Centers, Inc give these families the tools to achieve economic and emotional stability by providing a variety of programs, including citizenship and English language programs, homework clubs and tutoring for kids, and school enrichment and summer programs that provide a sanctuary for children of working parents who cannot afford to secure help. The purpose of the programs is to provide the kind of help that will show our beneficiaries how to help themselves. Many take place at 'Community Carters Home' at 61 East Putnam Avenue, where they are always are assured a welcome. However, the programs also take the trust into schools, on field trips, and even into the courtroom, where they serve as advocates for those who have no one else to speak up for them.

**BAAF plays a unique role in the field of adoption and fostering by transforming the future prospects of vulnerable children in the UK. It is the leading charity within this field, providing services across the board for all those involved. BAAF helps find loving homes for more than 250 children each year through its own family-finding services.

***Palna provides a home in Delhi (India) for foundling children. It was formed in 1978 from the Delhi Council for Child Welfare which had been established in 1952 to care for children displaced during the partition of India. In the 22 years of Palna's existence, nearly 2,000 children have been placed in loving families and their progress carefully monitored.

****The Loomba Trust supports education programmes for 2,200 children in India and will be working with the United Nations Foundation in five of the very poor north-eastern states to support widows and children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Their aims include provision of a sustenance allowance, counselling, livelihood training and education. It is hoped to reduce the vulnerability of individuals and communities to HIV/AIDS, alleviate the socio-economic and human impact of the epidemic and prevent the spread of HIV. The Loomba Trust has also given support to orphans and children affected by the Tsunami.
