First of all my main team is working with me the whole year around – only guides are working on half year or free lance basis and one or two assistants. All receive decent salaries and nobody is “living” from tips. The general working atmosphere could not be better and this is something what clients feel when they stay at Quincho. I am so far the only foreigner (living now for 12 years in Chile) – all the rest are Chileans and I try to get people from the area.

Our activities are focused on having a real experience and contact with locals. Most of the vegetables and fruits we use are produced local – meat, fish and seafood is coming from our area and provider we trust. All food we can produce by ourselves as bread, cookies, cakes, juices, marmalades and so on are done by our kitchen team.

Beside this we do a lot of small thinks like reuse of paper, organic and glass garbage is separated.
