- We encourage the clients ,If possible, support organisations working for the preservation and conservation of natural and cultural resources and the rights of workers in tourism fields.

- We minimise our electricity consumption by switching off lights, computers, fans etc in rooms that are not in use and at night. We have also shifted to CFLs

- We encourage double-side photocopying and, where appropriate, circulate documents by email.

Deposit & Final Payment
A non-refundable deposit of $200 per vacation per person is required for us to reserve space for you. Final payment is due 45 days prior to commencement of services. If we do not receive final payment by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. In the case of billing errors, we reserve the right to reinvoice with correct pricing. Payment in full is required at time of booking for reservations made within the final payment date.
Acceptance on the vacation is subject to presentation of the Advent Journeys.

Prices are quoted in US dollars and all payments must be made in US dollars whether by check or credit card. All payments submitted less than 15 days prior to departure must be by wire transfer.
Pricing
In order to offer the lowest possible price, all of our tours are priced according to the number of full-price passengers on the trip. For example:
Land Cost: $1795 (13-15 members), $1995 (9-12 members)
Supplements
Accommodations are based on double occupancy. A single supplement is paid by participants who specifically request single accommodations, subject to availability. If you are traveling alone and wish to share accommodations, we will try to match you with a roommate. However, if a roommate is not available, the forced single supplement will be charged .
Cancellations & Cancellation Fees
If cancellation is received by Advent Journeys outside of the final payment date, your non-refundable deposit will be retained in addition to any air cancellation fees or penalties. For individual reservations, the following per person cancellation fees apply. Total price does not include discounts, promotions, or special incentives. (For group reservations, refer to the Group Policy.)
45–22 days prior to commencement of services: 20% of total price
21–8 days prior to commencement of services: 30% of total price
7–1 days prior to commencement of services: 50% of total price
On departure day and later: 100% of total price
Cancellation fees may also apply to any additional services, including accommodations; independently supplied services; and optional excursions reserved prior to, during, and after the tour.
These conditions do not apply on customized trips or FITs.
Advent Journeys. must normally make substantial payments to its suppliers (hotels, transportation companies, etc.) far in advance of the scheduled embarkation date. If a trip is canceled due to force majeure (acts of God, war, labor strikes, earthquake, flooding, etc.), Advent journeys. will promptly refund the portion of the trip cost not already advanced to suppliers and use its best efforts to recover and refund the balance as promptly as possible. However, Advent Journeys. does not guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made, and our use of best efforts to recover these payments will not include the institution of any legal proceedings in foreign jurisdictions.
Advent Journeys. is not responsible for incurred by trip members in preparing for a canceled trip (e.g., nonrefundable advance purchase air tickets, visa fees, inoculations, equipment, etc.) or for any additional arrangements should the trip member have embarked prior to the scheduled group departure date. Once you have been confirmed on a trip that requires a medical certificate signed by a doctor, normal cancellation penalties apply if your doctor does not sign the certificate.
Price Guarantee
All tour prices are based on rates (including foreign exchange rates) known at the time of publication and expected to be in effect at the time of departure. Prices are subject to increase without notice if such rates change prior to departure. The current price will be confirmed at the time of reservation. However, once Advent Journeys has received your deposit for any vacation departing in 2008, that land price is guaranteed, and any subsequent land cost increases are at our expense, not including land surcharges and any government tax increases. Airfares included as part of air-inclusive tour prices are guaranteed when we receive full invoice payment. 2009 departures are subject to itinerary and price modifications. Tour prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Single room supplements and triple reductions are listed where applicable. Not all accommodation types are available on all Tours.
CHANGES OF HOTELS AND TOUR PROGRAMS Situations may arise which in our opinion, make it necessary for us to cancel, advance or postpone a scheduled departure, change itineraries or make substitutions involving hotels, restaurants or modes of transportation. In that event, we do not assume responsibility or liability for any resulting losses, expenses or inconvenience. Advent Journeys reserves the right to substitute hotels listed in the website for other equivalent hotels. You may incur additional costs as a result of any such changes.
Space at the selected hotels is limited, as a specific number of rooms are allocated by each hotel for this program, thus confirmation of your reservation at the tour prices quoted is subject to availability.
Advent Journeys also reserves the right to make any alteration in the itineraries as it may find desirable for your convenience and the proper carrying out of its services. You are bound by any changes we make and are responsible for additional expenses, if any.
Transfers
You may transfer to another trip without penalty by notifying us of your wish to transfer 61 days or more prior to departure. After that time you are subject to the cancellation fees outlined above. This does not apply to trips with non-refundable deposits.
VISAS AND HEALTH You are responsible for obtaining and payment of all visas and entry documents prior to travel, and for meeting all health and other requirements and any documents required by laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements
INSURANCE We recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance immediately upon booking. You can obtain details through your travel agent.
Limitation of Liability
Payment of your deposit represents your acceptance of the following terms and conditions:
Advent Journeys. gives notice that services provided in connection with its itineraries, including transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurants, and other services, are purchased from various independent suppliers who are not affiliated with Advent Journeys. in any way. Although it endeavors to choose the best suppliers available, Advent Journeys. has no right to control their operations and therefore makes these travel arrangements upon the express condition that Advent Journeys., and its own agents and employees, shall not be liable for any delay, mishap, inconvenience, expense, irregularity, bodily injury or death to person, or damage to property occasioned through the conduct or default of any company or individual engaged in providing these services.

Advent Journeys. shall not be liable for: (a) expenses such as additional hotel nights and meals not specified in the individual trip itineraries that may be required either en route, prior to, or following a trip, when caused by individual clients' travel arrangements, by airline scheduling or airline schedule changes, canceled flights, missed flight connections, or by other factors not under Advent journeys's control; (b) expenses incurred in recovering luggage lost by, belongings left behind on a trip, or in shipping purchases or other goods home from abroad; (c) bodily injury or property damage for any reason, including but not limited to acts of God, weather, quarantines, strikes, civil disturbance, theft, default, detention, annoyance, changes in government regulations, terrorism, war, or failure of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, etc., over which it (Advent Journeys.) has no control.
Advent Journeys. reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of our trips, and may use any such records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.
Advent journeys. reserves the right to substitute both trip leaders and hotels from those listed in the website without notice. If, after departure, the services included in the tour cannot be supplied, or there are changes in an itinerary for reasons beyond the control of the Company, the Company will arrange for the provision of comparable services. Any resulting additional expense will be payable by travelers, and any resulting savings will be refunded by the Company to vacation participants.

The Company reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a vacation participant; to expel any participant from the vacation; to make changes in the itinerary whenever the Company deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the participants; and to cancel a vacation at any time.

Advent Journeys. reserves the right to decline to accept or to restrain from further participation any person it judges to be incapable of meeting the rigors and requirements of participating in the activities, or any person whose actions or deportment impede trip operation or the rights, welfare, or enjoyment of other trip members. A refund based on cost of unused land services is the limit of Advent journeys's responsibility in such a case.

Trip Member's Responsibility
Trip members have the responsibility to select a trip appropriate to their abilities and interests. In order to assist you we grade each trip with a Trip Rating. We are also happy to discuss the trip with you, as well as provide you with names of past participants who can discuss their experience with you. Trip members are held responsible for being in sufficient good health to undertake the trip. Trip members are responsible for preparing for the trip by studying the itinerary and pre-departure information packets sent by Advent Journeys. and for bringing the appropriate clothing and equipment as advised therein.
No person, other than an authorized representative of the Company by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add, or waive any term or condition on this Web site, including any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions.
